| Iran doesn't fear the American military. Why should they? They've watched the decline of Iraq over the last three years, and how a small group of militantly sectarian fanaticists have successfully defeated the better armed and much larger American fighting force. They've noted how Bush fumbled in his so-called democratization plan for by passively allowing the American military presence there use unlawful means to gather intelligence, violate international human rights, and advance a Civil War that became inevitable from the moment American troops starting sloshing through the sands there. If you think the US is losing the Iraq War, just think how the US would do against the nearly 2,000,000 strong Iranian military. |
