HARRISBURG, Pa. - Gov. Ed Rendell on Wednesday followed through on his threat to veto a bill that would have toughened voter identification laws, saying that it would make it unnecessarily harder for people to cast a vote.
The legislation would make it more difficult for nursing home residents, displaced families and the poor to vote, Rendell said. |
