(NaturalNews) In 2008, Mike Adams sounded an alarm about Big Pharma companies which had long been paying in-house writers to ghostwrite scientific research articles, and then paid doctors and high-level academics to pretend they were the authors. Now two prominent attorneys are calling the practice a sham that constitutes legal fraud, saying, "Guest authorship is a disturbing violation of academic integrity standards, which form the basis of scientific reliability. The false respectability afforded to claims of safety and effectiveness through the use of academic investigators risks undermining the integrity of biomedical research and patient care."
