Joseph Stiglitz, who teaches at Columbia University in New York, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2001. Herein, he reviews The Return of the Master, by Robert Skidelsky, a hard back published by Allan Lane in 2009. Skidelsky is a noted biographer of John Maynard Keynes, the best-known and most written-about economist of the 20th century, and Keynes is the "Master" referred to in the title of Skidelsky's book. |
