Darrell Lind is our director of clinical services and is responsible for of the operation of the Foundation's Community Clinic where he administers a staff of six and several volunteers and students. Lind is a certified physician assistant and an American Academy of HIV Medicine certified HIV specialist. In addition to his administrative duties Lind continues to see patients each week in clinic, primarily those suffering from Hepatitis C. He began working with The Catalyst Foundation in 2003 as a National Health Service Corp scholar and remained after completing his primary care commitment. Lind has many interests; they include the roles of Information Technology in the delivery of medicine, co-opting existing public resources for the use by Community Clinics and he is dedicated to integrating the findings of the ACE study into primary care. Lind graduated summa cum laude from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a BA in Environmental Science and received both MSHS and MPH degrees form The George Washington University. Prior to coming to The Catalyst Foundation he worked for the District of Columbia Primary Care Association. He also employed by the Carrillo Community Clinic and Cottage Hospital both in Santa Barbara, CA. Most recently, he has been selected as a member of the third cohort of the Blue Shield/UCSF Clinic Leadership Institute.
