A political activist beginning in 1932 at the age of seven years, I have been involved in both major political parties for one reason or other, and most recently the Green Party, whose grounds-up approach has been the most appealing. There being no legally-recognized Green Party in North Carolina, where I live currently, I am registered as non-affiliated. I'm a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose continuing efforts to put this nation back on a good track are being done for my descendants and all others of their generations. I am also a health nut and have converted my 93 year-old husband of 12 years to a healthy diet of organic foods.
