An ongoing analysis of the presidential election from the debates to the primaries to the conventions to the general election. We begin with 23 Democratic candidates and the process of narrowing the field. At every stage we will recalibrate the analysis. The object is not just to predict the survivors and winners but to guide the electorate to reach an informed decision.
