Recently I helped work on a book of fiction that has finally been published. It is called "The Census". It can be found on Amazon by doing a search for The Census by Dane Swank.
The author, Dane Swank, has woven a story that revolves around ordinary people who suddenly find themselves on the run, trying to escape a secret government round up of the population, according to what they have written on their census report.
The government project is still in its infancy when things begin to go horrible wrong. They inadvertently awaken something more horrific than anything they could ever imagine.
This is a paranormal thriller that will keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next. The surprise ending will have you wondering if, perhaps, it hasn't already begun.

CEOs talk about shared sacrifice, but the only thing they want to share is your retirement money with their wealthy friends.
The Campaign to Fix the Debt is a huge, and growing, coalition of powerful CEOs, politicians and policy makers on a mission to lower taxes for the rich and to cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid under the cover of concern about the national debt. The group was spawned in July 2012 by Erskine Bowles and Alan Simpson, architects of a misguided deficit reduction scheme in Washington back in 2010. By now, the "fixers" have collected a war chest of $43 million. Private equity billionaire Peter G. Peterson, longtime enemy of the social safety net, is a major supporter.

It should be clear to anyone who has read...this series that manipulative short selling contributed to the financial crisis of 2008. And it could happen again. Or, rather, it may already be happening again. That's why multiple governments in Europe last week took dramatic steps to curb short selling of financial stocks.
But expect no such action from U.S. regulators. No matter how brazen the attacks, no matter how far the markets sink, the Securities and Exchange Commission has stated unequivocally that it intends to do nothing.
