Sunday, January 10, 2021 Trump insurrection evidence, Hill death total, impeachment anger growSHARE
By Andrew Kreig
Shocking revelations and allegations about the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol by a pro-Trump mob are fueling bipartisan efforts to impeach or otherwise immediately remove President Trump.
The mounting evidence makes clear why Trump, his appointees and his allies are increasingly suspected of facilitating the deadly riot to create enough chaos to reverse national election results so Trump's presidency could continue. Five died during the riot, including a policeman trying to protect lawmakers and staff.
This column provides for the Election Integrity (EI) research community a long appendix containing dozens of excerpts of recent EI developments. This includes coverage, for example, of all of those who died, plus such related developments as preparations for impeachment, arrests of rioters and recent investigative highlights from such authors as Greg Palast and Wayne Madsen.
Monday, November 30, 2020 Fired director of U.S. cyber agency Chris Krebs explains why President Trump's claims of election interference are falseSHARE
By Scott Pelley / CBS 60 Minutes
Chris Krebs, a lifelong Republican, was put in charge of the agency handling election security by President Trump two years ago. When Krebs said the election was the country's most secure ever, Mr. Trump fired him.
Now, Krebs speaks:
“We can go on and on with all the farcical claims alleging interference in the 2020 election, but the proof is in the ballots. The recounts are consistent with the initial count,” he says. “The American people should have 100% confidence in their vote.” President Trump remains largely holed up in the White House tweeting false accusations of a rigged election from behind a crumbling wall of lawsuits.
Krebs, confirmed unanimously by the Senate, called the 2020 vote "the most secure in American history," which promptly got him fired.
Wednesday, November 4, 2020 Joe Biden wins Wisconsin as Donald Trump freaks outSHARE
By Bill Palmer
The Donald Trump campaign has announced that it’s formally requesting a recount in Wisconsin. At the same time Trump is demanding that the votes in Wisconsin be counted a second time, he just filed suit to stop the remainder of the ballots in Michigan from being counted the first time. This is a self defeating legal strategy, as Trump’s recount request negates his argument for expediency. Biden is already ahead in Michigan, by nearly 50,000 votes. But Trump has been backed into the corner, where the only options he has left are dumb ones.In any case, we (and the Biden campaign in this video) expect Michigan to be called for Biden at some point later today.
This means we’ll wait to see if Nevada, Georgia, or Pennsylvania puts Biden over the top. That could take days. But at this point it seems very likely Biden will win, and Trump has no real recourse.
(5 comments) Saturday, October 10, 2020 Donald Trump is completely implodingSHARE
By Bill Palmer
Donald Trump, ten points down in the polling averages, sick with coronavirus, and fighting off scandals left and right, really needed a strong performance in next week’s second presidential debate. Instead he blew it off entirely because he didn’t like the virtual format. Trump has scheduled a campaign event at the White House, an unconscionably dangerous move considering he’s still contagious. It’s also a remarkably stupid strategic move, because there are only two ways it’ll play out. One is that not many people show up. The other is that a bunch of people show up, and next week they start testing positive.
Update: Only 400 people out of an expected 2,000 showed up, even after some of them had their travel expenses paid. In any case, Trump is completely imploding. Now is our big chance to put in the required work and finish this guy off.
(2 comments) Friday, September 25, 2020 Bernie Sanders says Trump is ready "to undermine American democracy in order to stay in power,"SHARE
Senator Bernie Sanders argued in an impassioned speech Thursday that President Trump's refusal to commit to a peaceful transfer of power is a threat to American democracy."What I am going to talk about is something that, in my wildest dreams, I never thought I would be discussing," Sanders said. "And that is the need to make certain that the president of the United States, if he loses this election, will abide by the will of the voters and leave office peacefully.""This is not just an election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. This is an election between Donald Trump and democracy – and democracy must win," Sanders said in an address at George Washington University. "Trump's strategy to delegitimize this election and to stay in office if he loses is not complicated. Finding himself behind in many polls, he is attempting massive voter suppression," Sanders said.

(6 comments) Saturday, May 2, 2020 Biden-Reade Claim: Donald Trump's head is spinningSHARE
By Bill Palmer
Over the past twenty-four hours Donald Trump has seemed to insinuate that the allegation against Joe Biden is both credible and fake.
Trump’s lapdog Lindsey Graham went on Fox News and strongly defended Biden. Trump and his team don’t know what to do. That’s not surprising.
It was invented by “Bernie or Bust” fanatics masquerading as journalists in a desperate last-ditch attempt at taking Biden down under the delusional belief that this would somehow result in Bernie Sanders being the nominee.
Joe Biden aced his interview yesterday, meaning it’s not going to have the impact that the “Bust” crowd was hoping for.
The scandal has prompted the media and the public to recall that Donald Trump has dozens of credible accusers. The Biden scandal could backfire as everyone is reminded of who the actual sexual criminal is.
(1 comments) Sunday, April 12, 2020 Joe Biden won another primary race last night while no one was watchingSHARE
By James Sullivan
Joe Biden scored another win on Saturday night – even if it wasn’t much of a surprise. Alaska held its primary on Saturday and Joe Biden successfully captured 55% of the vote, making him the winner and expanding his lead over Bernie Sanders with 11 delegates to Sanders’ 4.
Alaska is the first state in this race to hold its primary exclusively by mail. They postponed their presidential primary from last week due to fears of the novel coronavirus outbreak
He won by double digits, meaning he’s still outperforming expectations. Sanders won the state in a landslide back in 2016, back when Alaska still used a caucus format. Participation hiked up significantly from four years ago, with about 19,700 ballots received.
No wonder Donald Trump and fellow Republicans are terrified at the possibility of an election done entirely by mail.

By Brian
Krassenstein and Eddie Krassenstein
Alexandra Tara Reade’s accusations of sexual assault against
Joe Biden appear very questionable once the story is fully investigated. We
reached out to Ms. Reade for comment but she refused.
Every woman deserves to be heard, but every media outlet
still has the responsibility of investigating and then relaying to the public
all of the facts at face value.
Reade came forward [in March] with quite disturbing allegations.
While the allegations made are impossible to prove
or disprove, examining Reade’s actions over the years and other evidence that
has been archived on the internet, brings her honesty and integrity into
question.
Below we will cover inconsistencies in her
story of someone who went from seemingly adoring Joe Biden to
someone who accused Biden of doing horrific things to her.
(1 comments) Saturday, March 28, 2020 Fox News just delivered some terrible news for Donald TrumpSHARE
Over the past week various polling outlets showed that Donald Trump’s approval numbers for handling the coronavirus crisis were in the fifties, while his overall approval rating numbers had inched up into the mid to high forties.
This caused a lot of people to worry about what might happen in November.
When a crisis is unfolding, plenty of Americans will say they support a failing President when they don’t.
The number that matters is how Donald Trump is doing against Joe Biden in the polling averages. Throughout this crisis, Biden’s average lead had been ticking slightly upward, to 7.1 points.
Now today (March 28) a new poll from Fox News has Biden up nine points over Trump. Fox polling usually turns out to be surprisingly accurate, given the network’s overall lack of credibility.
Seven to nine points is a huge blowout lead.

Two-term Democratic Gov. Steve Bullock, above, is polling 47-47 against GOP incumbent
By Holly
K. Michels of Billings Gazette
(Original headline: "State
GOP spent $100k to qualify Montana Green Party for the ballot." ).
A mystery of the 2020 election was solved Tuesday as it
became clear the Montana Republican Party paid for an effort to qualify the
Montana Green Party for the ballot this election.
The Montana Green Party has made clear it did not do any
work to qualify and had not planned to run any
candidates.
By March 6, the secretary of state qualified the
Greens. That's
even with a new state law requiring anyone
spending more than $500 to qualify a minor party to register.
Green Party candidates can
be seen as drawing votes away from Democrats.
Tuesday, March 24, 2020 Think Biden Has a Young Voter Problem? Think AgainSHARE
By Bill Scher
Joe Biden (shown above in a Gage Skidmore photo on July 4 via Wikimedia) has effectively secured the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination, but he did so while getting trounced by Bernie Sanders among young voters.
The polls show he does not have a serious weakness with young voters.
Since Super Tuesday, four general election trial heat polls have been released that break down the results by age. Biden, who beats Trump in all four surveys, is the leader among young voters in all of them, usually by blowout margins.
Why is he doing rather well with young voters in general election polling, but so poorly in primary voting?
One reason is that most Democrats appear ready to accept Biden as their nominee.
Furthermore, the pool of young voters for the general election is wider than in the Democratic primary.
(2 comments) Friday, March 20, 2020 Tulsi Gabbard Finally Ended Her Increasingly Quixotic CampaignSHARE
By Nathaniel Rakich (538.com)
Gabbard entered the race in January 2019 with an intriguing profile: a woman of color, a military veteran, a millennial who advocated for new voices within the Democratic Party. She resigned as vice chair of the Democratic National Committee in 2016 to endorse Sen. Bernie Sanders.
What set Gabbard apart was how long she stayed in the race despite not winning more than 4 percent of the vote in any contest except tiny American Samoa (where she was born).
Upon dropping out, Gabbard also endorsed former VP Joe Biden, despite the fact that her 2016 pick, Sanders, is still in the race.
It would also seem to foreclose the possibility that Gabbard will run as a third-party candidate in the general election, perhaps splitting the Democratic vote and throwing the election to Trump.
(4 comments) Sunday, February 9, 2020 The Trump & Sanders cults: Similar tactics, same idol worshipSHARE
By Wayne MadsenWhile there
are significant policy differences between the presidential campaigns of Donald John Trump and Bernie Sanders, they share in
common political cult followings that idolize their political heroes.
The two cult followings also disseminate conspiracy theories that are nothing more than grievances about how their
candidates are treated.
For Trump fans, it's the "Deep State" and "Never Trumpers"
and for Sanders's followers, it's the Democratic
National Committee (DNC), Hillary and Bill Clinton, and DNC Chair Tom Perez.
Joining Sanders's supporters in claiming that the DNC is rigging
the campaign against Sanders is Trump, who sees Sanders as easy pickings in the
general election.Sanders, as the candidate of a party he ran against more than he
ever supported, would ensure four more years of Trump and the consolidation
of a fascist dictatorship.
Wednesday, January 29, 2020 Beware of the Scheming Trotskyists: 2020 PrimariesSHARE
By Wayne MadsenTrotskyists showed themselves all too willing to accommodate fascist forces, particularly during the Spanish Civil War, to isolate the Soviet Union. The deception of the Trotskyists led to the motto, “Never trust a Trot,” being heard at progressive political and labor gatherings around Europe, Australia, and North America.Today, those forces face a situation not seen since the 1930s. Global fascism is on the march and the left is engaged in factionalized rivalry. The schism between so-called “Independent Socialist” Bernie Sanders and traditional pro-labor Democratic candidates like former Vice President Joe Biden continues the Trotskyist program to divide. Trotskyists have always believed in “my way or the highway” even if the highway is one to the collapse of democratic and constitutional governance.
(1 comments) Sunday, February 22, 2015 Media Helped Eric Holder Polish Image, Selma March Is Next StageSHARE
Attorney Gen. Eric Holder burnished his legacy Feb. 17 with a National Press Club speech.
Holder received the deferential treatment accorded high officials.
But New York Times reporter James Risen reacted from afar by tweeting that Holder's legacy is a "wrecked First Amendment." Risen described President Obama as the "worst" enemy of press freedom in U.S. history.
The stakes are high as a new attorney general decides whether to follow Holder's lead in his dubious cases -- or reform the DOJ's culture of cover-up and its attacks on political enemies.
Next month, Obama, his team, and celebrities from the hit film "Selma" will attend the 50th anniversary of the 'Bloody Sunday' civil rights march in Selma, Alabama -- a state notorious also for the federal frame-up of still-imprisoned Democratic former Gov. Don Siegelman for a non-crime in 1999.
How should the public react?
