Olivia LaRosa is the nom de plume of Deborah Lagutaris. Ms. Lagutaris went back to college after her children were grown and subsequently obtained a law degree from a top-tier law school. She does not practice law, but is a tax practitioner earning an LL.M. in International Taxation and Financial Services from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. She received her B.A. from UC Santa Barbara in Political Science, Law & Society. She says that she studied "revolution" in college, with an eye to preventing same. She is an accomplished author and rhetorician.
