I used to be a registered Democrat but now am an Independent. I've lived through the administrations of 12 presidents, in retrospect, none of whom have served the people. I wish our country could be the vision propagandized in my youth rather than the open corporate fascist oligarchy it is today. I hope to keep the principles, values, and ideals alive in my personal monastery (a la Morris Berman)and express them externally when appropriate
