Her undergraduate and graduate degrees are from Indiana University, and her All Building Administrator License was completed at Indiana Wesleyan University. She feels her most successful and fulfilling work thus far has been as a teacher of adult male inmates. Janice further believes her experiences in the prison setting are an untapped resource for all teachers who wish to close the achievement gap. Ms. Chamberlin lives in Michigan City, Indiana. She is rich in friends and family, especially her four grandchildren.
