I am the President and Founder of The Aquaponics Source, which is one of a handful U.S. based businesses focused entirely on the home aquaponic gardener. I run Aquaponic Gardening Community, a 600 member online community site dedicated to aquaponic gardening, and I write the Aquaponic Gardening Blog, which has about 2000 readers a week and is widely considered the most influential aquaponics blog in the world today. I also write about aquaponics for Backyard Aquaponics and Urban Garden magazines, and for Growing Edge and Bodies in Space ezines. I teach and speak extensively on aquaponics and am currently writing a book on home aquaponic gardening for New Society Press.

In my past life I was the VP of Marketing, Innovation and Product Development for AeroGrow International, the makers of the AeroGarden. I was one of the company's original founders and was instrumental in developing the plant growth technology. I have a large, thriving aquaponic setup in my backyard greenhouse in Boulder powered by tilapia, goldfish, and other creatures-that-swim.
