Born in California to Vietnamese parents, I received a MA degree in South and Southeast Asian studies and subsequently spent two years in Vietnam and Thailand working on various social and community projects. These experiences reflect my strong interest in South Asian history, societies and regional political dynamics. After a brief stint at a start-up in Bangkok, I took up a position as a consultant on Southeast Asia for various NGOs. Nowadays, Iâ??m frequently jetting between the US and Thailand.
