Originally from Ireland, I am a citizen of both the USA and Ireland. I am a singer/songwriter and indy film producer but also have two companies which I have co-founded - Nations Trust Ltd., a London based project consulting and finance group (founded 1995) and Emerald Cities International and subsidiary EC USA in Scottsdale, AZ in 2009. This company is dealing with the design of new and improvement of existing cities using environmental technologies to create "green" communities and cities. Our first technology created in conjunction with Lawrence Berkeley Labs, Is a solar reflective coating for asphalt which significantly reduces surface temperatures and GHG and therefore combating the Urban Heat Island effect. It is called "Emerald Cool Pavements".
I am also a published songwriter with several albums and a stage musical to my credit - am currently recording an album to be released in 2012 by WEA (as Billy Jackson Band)and writing the soundtrack to the movie "Motherland" being shot in Africa later in 2012. Some trivia - In the past I have also been a professional soccer player and also managed 2 of the first 6 McDonalds opened in the UK. Never eaten it since!
