Brief Profile of Dr. Andrey Berg

Dr. Berg obtained his M.Sc (Geophysics) degree from State Mining
Institute (St Petersburg, Russia), and Ph. D. degree in Geophysics
from State Institute of Geophysics (Moscow, Russia). He has served
as Project Director and Scientific Consultant on several institutions
and organizations, including State Scientific Research Institute of
Ocean Geology (St. Petersburg, Russia) and Russian State Geology
Prospecting University (Moscow, Russia). His areas of specialization
are research and development of theory, methodology and series of
technologies and field instruments for electromagnetic and combined
exploration methods, including Seismo-Electromagnetic Prospecting
of Hydrocarbons. Dr. Berg has published over 35 research papers and
holds 27 registered patents in the areas of his specialization. He has
also published two books in the area of Electromagnetic Exploration.
He has tested and implemented many on-land and marine
exploration technologies for mineral resources detection. The main
achievement of Dr. Berg is finding of a specific response from
hydrocarbon deposits after binary seismo-electromagnetic action on
the surface that allows to triple annual hydrocarbon discoveries.
He disclosed for everybody, connected with it, tested technology
in US patents 7,042,801 (5/2006); 7,245,560 (7/2007) and
7,330,790 (2/2008),
