Born in Cincinnati Ohio in 1955, Paul J. Bern is a retired computer/IT professional, freelance minister and life coach with an online church called "Salt and Light Ministries". His new book, "The Middle and Working Class Manifesto", is already generating considerable interest and discussion. Among other things, the main premise of the book is to restart the civil rights movement of the 1960's based on the idea that mass unemployment and foreclosure, gross economic inequality, being unable to afford health care and higher education, and endless wars overseas as well as the "war on drugs" here at home, are the new civil rights issues of the 21st century. It is currently available on Amazon Kindle, Barnes and Noble Nook, and will soon be available in paperback.
