I graduated from Wayne State University (Detroit), earning my Bachelor's in Social Studies Education while playing baseball. This fall, I will return to my alma mater as a graduate student and begin my pursuit of a Ph.D. However, for reasons I will cover in my future posts, sports and most of "everyday life" no longer holds any import to me at this stage of my spiritual development. Consequently, instead of breaking down my experience and accomplishments like this is a first date, I believe one will better understand "who I am" based on the subjects and topics I will cover in the days, weeks, and months ahead. The word Philosopher means "lover of knowledge," While I am undoubtedly not a Plato, Aristotle, Kant, or Descartes, I maintain within me the spirit of a philosopher with my unquenchable thirst for knowledge to attain a more precise understanding of the world around me. Therefore, if you deem yourself a fellow "lover of knowledge," join me on this voyage of self-discovery and seek the answers to some of life's most consequential questions with me. Jointly, we can start spreading the message of light over darkness, love over fear, and acceptance over division. We all have a role in this cosmic play. We are the actors, and it is showtime! Content to be covered: The mystery of human origins No satisfactory explanation for our existence Lost knowledge & esoteric symbolism Fibonacci Sequence/Golden Ratio Challenging the acknowledged timeline of human development and civilization Dating of the Sphinx 10,500 BCE? Fluvial weathering? Gobekli Tepe Ollantaytambo Saqsayhuaman Archaeoastronomy We must look into this relatively new discipline and how it persists in forcing the ages of ancient sites further back than ever imaginable. OAP'S: Out of Place Artifacts Micro artifacts from the Ural Moutain Region The Cosmo Artifact Ica Stones Nampa Figurine Glen Rose fossil tracks And many more Precession (Of the Equinoxes) Astronomical phenomena It causes the Earth to "wobble" as it rotates on its axis. One degree of change every 72 years, to be discussed in depth within various subjects and as a single topic. Critique of Darwin's Theory No hard evidence that his theory applies to humans Gregor Mendel Alleles Yes, we share about 98% of our genetic material with chimpanzees. We also share about 50% of our DNA with bananas. So, does that make us 50% banana too? Review of the Abrahamic Religions Catholicism/Christianity Was Jesus of Nazareth nothing more than a literary allegory and metaphor? The many direct parallels to Horace, Dionysus, Krishna, Mithra The 'evolution' of monotheism American History and Politics The Founders Revolution Federalist Papers The War Between the States One can only understand America in the 21st century with an accurate understanding of the calamity that took place in the mid-19th century. The Civil War is 'the seminal event' in this nation's history. As such, it deserves much attention, now more than ever. The Gilded Age Numerous parallels to today The Great War Comparisons exist between the fight in Ukraine/the current geopolitical climate. The 1930s Rise of fascism and demagogues WWII The most consequential event in the 20th century America's contribution Pacific victors Soviet's contribution European victors Philosophical, Metaphysical, and Theological Concepts Theosophy Comparative Religion Energy Everything is energy; nothing is truly solid. Solidity is an illusion. The Current State of Politics in the United States The fascism that has gripped the "Party of Lincoln." The danger that this incarnation of the Republican Party poses to this country. Donald Trump Most "dangerous" man in America? Current Events/Ukraine/Russia & China As it seems like the major powers are beginning to move their pieces around the chessboard in preparation for a coming World War Is WWIII in its early stages? If so, can it be avoided, or have events (both real and perceived) been set in motion with little chance of reversal? Where does it start? Taiwan? Eastern Europe? Thus, the queries and content I will raise will be wide-ranging but methodical; some periods will focus on a particular subject matter in a series of posts concerning various complementary chapters. Other times, I will concentrate on one single issue or current event. So much of what steers me as a writer is my dissent and firm conviction that not only have we been lied to concerning our past by our education system and mainstream academia, but even more alarmingly, it appears far too many of us have ceased asking the "big questions." If ever there was a time for humanity to ponder the miracle that is our 3D reality, it is now! Because if not now, when?
