Born 1953, grew up in Parkersburg WV and Marietta Ohio, have several college degrees and majors, teach piano for a living, have played piano for a church for about ten years, hate labeling, oppose the wars, have attended and even organized demonstrations against the wars, encourage people to love truth and each other (the same thing), think for themselves, and never surrender their critical thinking skills and conscience to anyone else, ever, no matter what. Personally, I believe that we will face a life review at the end of this process, and should live with that awareness, just as if we were now standing in the glare of that light. We should never be deceived into thinking what we do here and now does not count, or is some sort of a game. Though it is very contrary to the values of our culture, not much else counts down here except how compassionately we treat others. I am not interested in lists of material "accomplishments" or spending my life trying to create monuments to my ego.
Favorite quote:
"It troubles me to think that Americans watching the films of the (controlled explosive demolitions of the twin) towers ... are unable to perceive that those are buildings BLOWING UP! Those are not buildings falling down. A building falling down looks totally different from a building blowing up. And yet " the government tells them, "Oh, these buildings are falling down." So they say, "Oh, the buildings are falling down. The government says they are falling down." With their own eyes they can't even see a building blowing up and say, "Hey, that building isn't falling down. It's blowing up."
"And so you've got these sites and all this intellectual energy trying to oppose the police state and oppose the wars, and yet they accept the premise on which WAR AND TYRANNY are based. And it's impossible to oppose the war and the police state when you believe the government's account of 9/11." - Paul Craig Roberts

I love this quote because having read books on 9/11 and the debate surrounding this topic, here comes a man who points out, "It's obvious." It is! And that is horrifying.
