DOE's Idaho National Laboratory cuts fuel use 20% Through June 2009, INL fuel use is down more than 167,000 gallons â?? an overall 20.2 percent fuel reduction for the first nine months of Fiscal Year 2009 â?? as compared to just four years ago. INL has increased its E85 use 150% since 2008. INL is modernizing its fleet of light-duty cars and pickup trucks.
