I am a retired educator living in northern California (120 miles north of Sacramento) in a rural area in the heart of the Central Valley. Since realizing that I had a voice that moves people to action, I have been engaged in community organizations and activism in a range of areas that promote the building of community, where all are equal and treated with respect. As a gardener, I am very concerned about the evil actions of Monsanto. I am working to develop local economies and local independence, public transit, and support to low income families.
