Why "Liberal Elites" Hate Small Town America ...a lot of people seem to feel (and have written) that "liberal elites" have not shown the proper respect for Middle America. The perception is that big-city liberals condescend to and despise small-town America. Well, I'm here to set the record straight... We do.
