WE, the people, should be watching our government. They should NOT be watching us. While they were watching us, they were not watching our economy, our infrastructure, our security, our children's health and education, our ports and chemical plants, our energy production and certainly not our environment. There has been blatant negligence and corruption while they were pretending to be concerned about our nation. I plan on working to change that.
Our media and our so-called "leaders" in Washington have betrayed us all. They have taken a prosperous, well-respected nation and wrecked it financially and morally. Mainstream media is nothing more than paid talking heads who no longer do the job of journalists - finding the truth and disseminating it. The "leaders" have abdicated their duty to the people in favor of power and greed.
