As we become increasingly defined not by ourselves, but by corporation publicilty wonks, we discover that we are nothing but consumers. In reality, we are sentient human beings and must act as citizens and shed the consumers cloak that is warping our vision and existence.
Why the Tea Party Should Stop Worrying and Learn to Love Vermont

Is This The Best That We Can Do
Five Vermont activists met with Senator Leahy yesterday to talk about truth commissions and prosecutions.
In spite of a Bush/Cheney policy of systematic torture, criminal war and spying on Americans, Leahy is doubtful that his commission will get off of the ground and offered scant prospects for prosecution either.
