Natasha Hull-Richter has been a major force in voting rights and civil rights since the age of 9,  creating major rallies and marches. At the age of 11, she succeeded in convincing California leaders that the people of her state needed a voter verifiable paper trail.   With the assistance of Barbara Lee, Natasha  convinced the California Democrats to create a Progressive Caucus and Natasha was elected a founding officer. Natasha began writing resolutions for the California Democratic Party at the age of 10.  Her adopted resolutions have included the party's official positions calling for that voting paper trail, an end to the death penalty, withdraw from the WTO and cancellation of NAFTA, the impeachment of George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney, the erection of an Iraqi/Afghan Children's War Memorial, support for the Jenna Six and inclusion of Claudette Colvin in history books.   She has often been a keynote speaker in anti-war rallies. She is a member of SAG and a popular singer (even belting out opera). Currently she is a top student at  University of California's Berkeley campus, where she is double majoring in music and philosophy.
