Trained as an Organizational Consultant, Change Agent and Ombudsman I have a unique view and affinity for both sides of most issues, namely in the labor/management struggles in a deregulated industry, and it's full impact on employees and companies.

As a retired, 64 year old executive from the airline industry. Eastern Airlines, to be exact, I also oversaw a major city operation for years working with 3,000 employees, 6 unions(majors: IAMAW, Teamsters, ALPA, TWU). Worked through the deregulation stage of the airlines, 2 major national strikes and finally, bankruptcy and shut down. I later was VP and GM for a computer training company for twelve years.

I was a GOP voter most of my adult life. I am an Immigrant Irish Catholic, raised in a fairly bigoted family environment. Our family also had major union ties with several of my immediate relatives as high ranking officials in the steel and autoworkers unions.
