His first blunder was welcoming Queen Elizabeth II of England to the 1776 celebrations of the war of independence. After correcting the date by 200 years, he quickly came back with a Bushism: "She gave me a look that only a mother could give a child." and then winked at her majesty.
Protocols and diplomacy go hand in hand. This simple blunder of protocol explains why we are in the mess we are in Iraq. A monkey is incapable of handling protocol, and his lack of understanding of ceremony and traditions render him incapable of diplomacy.
Pure brute force, my way or no way, declaring war against weak countries without any understanding of the complications that result from such acts are all the monkey’s ways.
Our monkey is responsible for the death of over 3300 American Patriots who are following their monkey unquestionably as per rules and protocol that have made this country great. However, the country is only as good as its leader.
The monkey lied to get us into this unprovoked war in Iraq, abetted by the press who never, not once, dared to question the monkey—for fear of losing access to the monkey’s cage.
We were lied to about weapons of mass destruction, we were told we would be received as “liberators”. When things started going wrong, the monkey told us that the insurgency was in its last throes. Not only that but the mastermind of the war, Paul Wolfowitz, made a famous prediction that the oil reserves in the country would pay fort the war. Was he using Ms. Riza’s numbers—for which he deemed necessary to promote her and greatly increase her income?
Losers of wars are the only ones that are tried for crimes against humanity. The United Nations says about 2.4 million Iraqis are refugees—having left their country to flee persecution—and 1.9 million more are "internally displaced," having fled their homes but staying in the country. Death estimates are in the hundred of thousands. In the Darfur region of Sudan, the total displaced is 2.2 million to 2.5 million, with the majority remaining in the country. To me these are definitions of genocide.
Who will tell the monkey?
