So many innovative activist campaigns discussed here are GREAT ideas. There are so many innovative and genius projects coming from peace and justice, environmental, human/civil rights, and 9/11 truth activists. BUT, IF WE COULD ADD A FEW MILLION PEOPLE TO OUR NUMBERS . . . all these actions would take on a whole new import.

I'm steeped in guerilla activism. The KEY to getting the public to become aware of something that the powers don't want them to know about . . . often can't be done in a linear way . . .
A student organizer of the 1960's anti-war movement was asked by Tom Brokaw if he could organize an anti-war movement today . . . his reply was, "No, leaders don't make movements . . . movements make leaders."
What he was saying is that to make huge things happen, is like surfing. Surfers don’t build waves and control the ocean. They know that when you “tighten up” and try to control the situation . . . is when you are most likely to get the hell beat out of you . . . eat sand . . . and not get very far . . .
Surfers look for waves in the public consciousness that can catapult them (their issue) forward in a powerful way, with the least effort . . . these waves have power that is multi-dimensional and works on many different angles, bringing a force much more intense than what is seen on the smooth surface . . .
A wave is building . . . right now . . . as I type . . . and as you read . . .
The corporate media has enabled two illegal wars, the loss of our liberty, a massive shift of resources toward the military industrial complex, and the theft and control of massive oil reserves in the Middle East . . . while distracting the public for 7 years from real environmental focus, while they pump ill gained oil, and sell it to us for obscene profits.
How has the media done this? By covering up the facts around 9/11. Most of us know now we’ve been lied to about 9/11, and that it was not only allowed to happen, but it was MADE to happen.

Corporate media has sat on a boiling pot of truth for too long, and it is now beginning to bubble and steam up through places they can’t control. We saw Charlie Sheen steam 9/11 truth out, and then Rosie O’Donnell . . . but Steve Alten’s “The Shell Game,” goes beyond that.
It is a work of fiction about the lies of 9/11, oil war, the defiled environmental costs, loss of human rights . . . that the average Joe and Martha America can handle.
