I am in Rutland.
My errands are done.
I am driving south straight to route 4.

There is a great purple cloud in the west.
There is lightning over Ira.
The mountains of Ira are veiled by rain.

Lightning lights up mountains of rain.
The purple of the clouds is ominously beautiful.
Rutland is all around me.

Cars are shiny with rain.
I am anxious to be home again.
The storm over Ira says Wait.

Do not drive through me.
If you drive through me you may be sorry.
I am nervous.

I long for home.
I will make tea.
I will remove my mask.
