"ENTITIES" and "entities"
She was created by God not by us.
A corporation is not an "ENTITY". It is an "entity".
A corporation is like a word, a humanly crafted thing. It has life the way the word "dog" has life. We assign meanings to sounds and we have the gift of language. But any other sound will do to indicate a dog. And in many languages dogs are named by various sounds.
A corporation is a strangely crafted and also totally arbitrary human contrivance, like language symbols. It has a life if we assign it one.
The original intent of a corporation was a union of skill and work to produce a common prosperity. The use of this arbitrary human contrivance, "corporation" has lately morphed to be something else.
When a corporation goes belly up, the owner can walk away scot free no matter how he has used the tool called a corporation to harm the EARTH-ENTITY or humans.
This is insanity. Any culture that gives precedence to its abstractions and symbols, to a greater degree than the divinely important things like human souls and our divinely created planet, (the sacred things the abstractions sometimes name), needs to be thrown out. Our planet and its people are not humanly created abstractions but they can be reduced to mere words in a court of law and in the laws of the land. So that way they look like little more than linguistic abstractions and legally can end up being little more. But any culture that reduces its humans to a place of legal inferiority to its human abstractions and contrivances needs to die.
Such a culture should die and thank God in heaven above our culture is dying. And thank God above there is a new culture on the periphery already that is waiting to take the place of the dying culture.
"The map is not the territory" is another way to say this. Our legal linguistic or otherwise formed cultural contrivances are human made not divinely made. And when we give them legal privilege greater than the divine entity Mother Earth and when we give these legal contrivances greater legal power and value than humans, we have set the stage for immense suffering down the line and an easy rip-off of Nature in the short run.
And now, thank God, people are beginning to give the legal right of being an "Entity" to Mother Nature. I quote the immensely lovely words I saw yesterday that talked of the new constitution of Equador that did just that ... gave the legal right of being an "entity" to Mother Nature in their constitution.
