What do you think of this? Please comment. My suspicions are even more aroused, and there is a bewildering amount of material to unravel.

I think this Pulitzer is warranted and that the WSJ deserves it. What do you think? This is journalism about journalism.

I have thought for decades that the WSJ is a vile rag. We know it id a PR arm of the CIA. I don't give a hoot in hell about Trump's alleged or real sex life. I see this as an utter distraction from anything that matters.

To a large extent, I agree. I do write and care a lot about journalism about journalism, so I brought it up, hoping for readers' insights and feedback.

I truly appreciate your candor, Daniel. It is a "tangled web," is it not?

The articles whose URLs I cited are interesting. I don't believe it to be an "utter distraction," however.

It is a tangled web and a Gordian knot. Speaking truth is the only solution I can see to even possibly unentangling it.

Well said. Thank you. Further complicated for me, because I see many conflicting truths. I have a Santa Fe friend who won the Pulitzer for Investigative Journalism for her expose of bad batches of Tryptophan. I think in 1992 it was a different kind of prize; this designation in 2019 doesn't have quite the same purity, but I could be wrong.
