Sonnet: My Life as a Managed Desire

Adsense Makes the Heart Glow Fonder

by John Kendall Hawkins

.

My life as an ad, a jingo unchained

new, improved, and stains removed with wonder

teleprompter thinking, I am unbrained

taxpaying the wages of sin

a bonafide criminally naà ¯f

but I'll never give in to thinking groupon

buying is a form of democracy
