Many successful people are successful because they push and won't accept failure. As CEO of a PR Agency, I know that hard work is essential -- but so too is positive thinking and inspiration. As he says in the forward, "This book is about success and what it really takes to earn it. It's time someone told you straight. You've been bamboozled for too long. There is no magic bullet, secret formula, or quick fix."
Recently finished reading "The Compound Effect: Jumpstart your income, your life, your success," by Darren Hardy, the founder of Success Magazine, which had tremendously inspirational quotes that are worth sharing:
" Your adversity is your advantage. Your past has developed muscles, not wounds."
"Motivation without action leads to self-delusion."
"You alone are responsible for what you do, don't do, or how you respond to what's done to you."
"What's simple to do is also simple not to do. The magic is not in the complexity of the task; the magic s in the doing of simple things."
"The biggest difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is that successful people are willing to do what unsuccessful people are not. Remember that; it will come in handy many times throughout life."
"A daily routine built on good habits is the difference that separates the most successful amongst us from everyone else."
"Habits and behaviors never lie. If there's a discrepancy between what you say and what you do, I'm going to believe what you do every time."
"It's amazing how life will organize around the standards you set for yourself."
Wasn't surprised to learn that Hardy is associated with a company named Vemma, which is one of the fastest growing companies in America. Positive thinking leads to positive results.
