Mainstream Media Moves In For The Kill Of Bernie Sanders Campaign

By       (Page 1 of 1 pages)   22 comments

Let's be clear. Currently, the count for Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton for pledged delegates is tied.

But to hear from the mainstream media, Hillary has suddenly become unstoppable because she has hundreds of Superdelegates. The thing is, most campaign insiders say it is way too early to worry about superdelegates. Believe me. I know, because I worry about them and have written about them and published other articles about them. I started the first petition to have the superdelegate program killed by the DNC.
So I listened, when a lot of experts pooh poohed my concerns. Maybe they're right. Maybe some superdelegates will switch later on. That's what happened when Obama ran. But hardly anything changed with the Nevada primary. Hillary won enough delegates to break even with Bernie in terms of pledged delegates.
Yet all the news media are now back to saying Bernie is toast, that he can't win. This is nothing new. This has been the message the mainstream media has been selling HARD for months.
Did you expect that they would suddenly embrace a guy who is challenging the whole f*cking system? Did you think that with one tie and one win they wouldn't jump at the soonest opportunity to kick him, to do all they could to demoralize his supporters and create an appearance of failure and losing? Of course that's what they're going to do. That's what low-life media Hillary shills like Andrea Mitchell and Chris Matthews are going to do. It's what CNN and MSNBC will do. It's what FOX will do because they want to run their candidate against Hillary, with her massive negatives and her looming emailgate case waiting to break after she clinches the election.
So, when you see a massive, and I mean massive, huge, overwhelming broadside of anchors and mainstream media sources like the New York Times and Washington Post, which have always been gunning for Bernie, keeping Hillary's back, with new articles doomsaying about Bernie, know that they are as full of sh*t now as they were a week and a month and six months ago.
What can you do? Call them on it. Tweet and share on Facebook about shills like Matthews and Mitchell and the many others. Write to the networks and tell them when these shills show up, you change the station. Tell everyone you know that the MSM, at the service of the establishment, the system, the enemy, is doing everything it can to discourage them from voting for the best candidate, the one who has the best chance of beating the GOP choice and the one who will make the biggest difference in their lives. If they are die-hard supporting Hillary, don't bother. Go for people who are not yet decided. Ask people. Talk to them. There are many out there. This is not over especially in terms of the superdelegates-- a despicable policy that insider Democrats put in place to block the will of the people.
