I've been told that, when we separate the classes into "us" and "them", we perpetuate an unsustainable situation, a situation that has adversary consequences. I ask, with all due respect, who are the "we" that turns the argument into an "us" and "them" argument, consequently keeping the adverse fires aflame?

As The Corporatocracy sees nothing more mouth watering than members of middle America at each other's throats, it helps, with its so called Astroturf grassroots movements, like the Tea Party movement, to perpetuate the "us" and "them" phenomenon.

We can sit all day with our fingers in our ears shouting, "Blah, blah, blah, blah, I can't hear anything! Talking about "us" and "them" is bad, umkay?" All the while, "us" are either being squashed like ants unfortunately caught on a road repair job or exploited like the Tea Partiers who don't realize that they're but temps in the outsourcing of The Corporatocracy's goal of, well, to each according to his greed, from each according to his life span.

When I say I'm just a little guy writing a column in one of a trillion on line news outlets, one of the better ones, of course, I mean it. I'm 5'2" tall. More importantly, you all know of what I write. You're the choir.

I can't even get progressive sites like Common Dreams, Raw Story, The Huffington Post, After Downing Street.org or Truth Dig to publish me. They've already got their "names" lined up. So the undeniable sense I make is seen by you who are reading it now, either at OpEdNews, Mt. Diablo Peace Center, on my mailing list, on my web site, and my counter tells me that isn't a lot of you or on my blog, of which my counter also speaks poorly.

How can a 5'2" man who makes sense get to a large audience to teach them that we indeed need a government, one that's elected directly by the people; one that's made up of people who engage in very short political campaigns; one which is made up of people who don't have to mortgage their first born just for the privilege of losing in a primary; one which is made up of people who are not only not beholden to The Corporatocracy, but also not beholden to any political party; one which is made up of people who want to govern and govern well, not get a good paying job with a lot of perks; one which is made up of people who think that a government salary will make them comfortable albeit not necessarily in a position to purchase an original Renoir and consequently one which is made up of people who could care less how much money liars, murderers and thieves wave under their noses.

Who can make the changes that need to be made to reform our political system so we can get such a government? They are the very place holders who sit in The House of Representatives, The Senate, The White House and on The Supreme Court today, that's who they are.

They are The Corporatocracy.
