UPDATE: 1800hr., THURS., 18 Sept. 2014 Kansas news media reports the Kansas Supreme Court ruled against Secretary of State Kris Kobach refusing to allow Roberts' Democratic Party challenger Chad Taylor to withdraw his name from the ballot. This leaves Independent Greg Orman as the single largest contender against Roberts.
