Make America Great Again!
I spend several hours of each day looking at what makes American great, again. For several hours I look at the work of religious nations. I look at photos or videos of children, bone thin. Newborns, bone thin. Wide-eyed children, with faces that resemble very old human beings. These Gazen children are human beings, however. By the hundreds, they are starving, intentionally. They are shot dead, along with a family member or two, trying to procure food. They are dying in hospitals ill-equipped to treat so many, so many too far gone with hunger. They are dying because the doctors, too, are starving. If they aren't shot dead.
And the good Christians in the US, where is their outrage?
It's the law now. The US, a Christian nation, is one the record. The lives of the super wealthy are more valuable than American children who will lose Medicaid and access to healthcare. The 1.02 trillion dollars of cuts to Medicaid, as a result of Trump and the Christian Right's opposition to democracy, will mean some 10.5 million Americans, including children, will lose healthcare benefits.
Infant and children would see 100 million dollars cut from WIC programs, according to HuffPost. Two million children will lose SNAP benefits. "'Families already struggling to afford groceries may have even less to work with, and up to 18 million kids could lose access to free school meals,'" states a pediatric registered dietitian, Danielle Zold.
Is this something Jesus would approve of?
Americans are reciting religious dogma, drawing out enemies in the process, enemies to be punished, to receive "retribution." And to what end?
