These are the right questions. In the last eight years, America has gone through a policy of regression that led to where we are today politically. If reforms aren't acted on and Trump is dumped or stopped short on reforms, the people that want to get rid of him already told progressives to get to the back of the bus.
Team Clinton and the Democratic Party have already made the moves to shut down all opposing media. To ignore this one fact is to agree with repression.
Democratic hob-nailers are trying to force a circling of the wagons regardless of cost to domestic policy, foreign policy, and respect for the office of the presidency. Through media, they are inculcating hard-core nationalism that hasn't been seen in America since the 1930's.
This is at a time when progressives need to counter any effect Bannon's infatuation with Julius Evola has on government and society. You can't fight nationalism with nationalism. The end result is an even harder nationalism. I'm starting to sound like media made Bernie out to be.
There are two ways to destroy this cancerous outbreak in our society. First, like Roosevelt, you rebuild the economy. Nationalism thrives when enough people feel disaffected and discarded. It wanes quickly when people see stability and feel growth in the economy because of jobs.
Second, and just as important is replacing ideology with idealism. JFK took our country quietly through a second great nationalist awakening sparked by...the very same people and media.
Those That Didn't Vote For Hitler Get a 2nd Chance To
A commonly held saying is that those who don't know history are destined to repeat it. I wrote this background in 2014 for today because of the trends I saw happening. That's why it's important. You, without meaning to on the other hand, are repeating the trends and the history. Just an overview of common media headlines start showing distinct parallels to today.
In the 1930's FDR was called a fascist, a communist, a bigot, a racist, a supporter of the KKK, and an anti-Semite. He was called treasonous. This is what media played him out to be.
Gold medal winner Jessie Owens stated that Hitler was less of a racist than FDR. "Hitler didn't snub me--it was [Roosevelt] who snubbed me. The president didn't even send me a telegram."
In Roosevelt's day, the New York Times led the way with a whopping 35 headlines favoring the people that were trying to commit a nationalist fascist coup between 1934-1936. Time Magazine and all Luce publications followed suit. All Hearst publications soon followed.
Today we have the same media push by a minority of people that are herding a larger majority of party members into the mentality.
