Let's hope that blind faithers on Wall Street don't over-ride sound science, and that no pharmaceutical companies succumb to White House political pressure for a quick fix for the COVID-19 pandemic. The United States--and the world--cannot afford the public health crisis that would surely result from bringing a vaccine to market before all precautions have been taken.
