Are these recommendations the best that could be devised? Certainly not; however they represent a START. How many individuals or think tanks do we see in our government, in the public sector, in the media or anywhere else in America trying to develop explicit methods or programs to solve the massive problems we face? Have we heard even one of these potential vehicles for real change seriously being discussed and promoted by President Obama or Congress? If not, why not? America is waiting for someone to light the fire of creativity and energize its people. We cannot simply wait while the foundations of America continue to deteriorate.

Can we stop our rapid downward spiral? Yes, while it will be a monumental task, it can be done. Something is happening in America right now that is going to have a huge impact on our predicament. There is a rapidly growing, seething anger and extreme frustration coming to the surface as states, cities and municipalities, awash in debt, are cutting thousands of jobs and many essential services. We are approaching a boiling point as millions of Americans are finding their lives are being torn apart and there is no one to turn for help.

So, this is what has to happen, it must happen; people have to reach the point that they say, "enough is enough and we aren't going to take it anymore." Whether it's through the upcoming mid-term elections or huge demonstrations on the streets all over America, we the people must make it clear that we are out of patience and will not continue to stand by while the Congress and this president fail to address our most critical problems.

We are facing the most crucial period in our lifetimes. Mr. Obama must be made to understand that it's imperative that he bring these insane wars to an end and effectively deal with our domestic crises or he will be held personally responsible for the collapse of our economy, the nation's infrastructure and our society.
