Yet, even today, Dick scorns Clinton's quick, successful 1999 intervention in Kosovo. It was humanitarian intervention in a place utterly without strategic or resource relevance to the USA, and unlike our tortured decades of delay in Iraq and our current indifference to Darfur, in Kosovo rescued innocent people from the bad guys while the ethnic cleansing was taking place. In '99, on the eve of the Kosovo mission, Dick asked, "won't Democrats ever understand that outside of the USA, most people live their whole lives suffering under oppression? It's just the way things are." Deep in what is left of his bypassed heart, Dick won't ever understand why we would waste our resources helping a bunch of foreign strangers: "It's a dog-eat-dog world."

Parting Thoughts

Generally, dogs don't eat dogs.

It's probably unfair to compare Dick's mentality to brat-like arrested development. He's actually a parasite. He hasn't paid income taxes in years, thanks to clever tax attorneys and a tax code that favors landlords and their property expenses. Whenever Dick pontificates about his burdens as a taxpayer, he devolves from parasite to lying parasite, because he has no burdens. He enjoys all the multiple benefits of a retired American on Social Security and Medicare; alive and thriving, thanks to millions of strangers paying his bill, Dick looks forward to his next rare Porterhouse steak and taking his grandkids to the taxpayer-funded sports arena via taxpayer-funded light rail. But he hasn't paid one penny of the shared costs. (It's not fair.)

When you vote in the midterms, if you claim to be angry at the Democrats and want to teach them a lesson (what lesson?) by voting Republican, remember -- You're being a Dick.
