one in seven children going to bed hungry

our schools, roads, bridges and rail systems in shambles
As libertarian regulatory policies continue to throw Texas into periodic crisis and chaos, killing people across the state, it made perfect sense that Ted Cruz would have taken his family to the Ritz Carlton in Cancun. It's emblematic of Republican behavior across the board that continues to this day.
After all, when it's not the job of government to care for its citizens, and the morbidly rich are getting even richer off our privatized, underfunded infrastructure it's time for GOP elected officials to party!
