1) Achieve real security for the American people
The Democratic Party will work on securing America through a new approach that takes in consideration the interests of America and the needs of the global world.

The Democratic Party believes that extremism is the product of injustice and through working with all leaders in the world as a partner not an enforcer, we will commit to achieve real solutions using peaceful means such as trade and comprehensive international aid programs similar to the Marshal plan in Europe after World War II.
? The Democratic Party understands that September 11 changed the definition of strong military whereby few angry people with no country or army can reflect a great harm on nations. A new defense strategy will cut spending on untraditional weaponry such as nuclear and star war systems, while maintaining or increasing the investment in the fields of intelligence and international aid.
? The Democratic Party will commit to a complete implementation of the 9/11 committee recommendations within twelve month of their rein. See the final report card issued by the committee on the status of implementing the recommendation.
