This is the statement made by George Galloway when he was summoned before our senate subcommittee looking into the oil for food scandal on May 17th, 2005, “I gave my political life's blood to try to stop the mass killing of Iraqis by the sanctions on Iraq which killed one million Iraqis, most of them children, most of them died before they even knew that they were Iraqis, but they died for no other reason other than that they were Iraqis with the misfortune to born at that time. I gave my heart and soul to stop you committing the disaster that you did commit in invading Iraq. And I told the world that your case for the war was a pack of lies.”

Giuliani also stated, “I've heard some pretty absurd explanations for Sept. 11." To that I add; is it possible and yes probable that some terrorists did come to hate us especially when they saw our deadly foot print during those years kill one million Iraqis?  Isn’t is at least possible, Rudy, that this and other actions coming from our government angered these terrorists and their only recourse was to answer us back? If you cannot see that Rudy, again, you have no business being president.  It had nothing to do with our freedoms but their hatred towards this government.  To those that saw the results of our sanctions killing one million innocent people, it was not absurd to them.

In reading this article I zeroed in on this passage, “Paul was responding to a question about the origins of terrorist attacks on US soil and noted the generations-long history of US involvement in Middle East politics, including a CIA-sponsored coup to overthrow Iran's leader in 1953” Yes, if one actually sits and watches that hour and a half feed Secrets of the CIA, they do mention this Iranian coup.  In that coup we put in place the Shah of Iran and the blow-back to that was when the Ayatollah Khomeini came to power with his anti-American sentiment.  It has been in place ever since.  In fact it is he who controls Iran’s military under the Iranian Constitution.  Not their president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.  Does Rudy Giuliani even know that?
