While that sounds like something that would be sung to the tune of “Grown Up Christmas List”, you didn’t have to be “grown up” to wish for any of those this year. You just had to know that those things should take precedent over any gadget that capitalism produces. And knowing that might have also led you to figuring out that after getting all those wishes, you could have more money to buy more gadgets for you and your loved ones in your family.
Unfortunately, with only a few days to go, we continue to play by the ridiculous rules the retailers set for us. Gladly.
