Personally I am quite sick and tired and seeing detailed rants about oligarchic corruption that lead to nothing but more such ranting. I know what oligarchs are and what they do. I don't need more information to know that we need a real revolution. And I know that the primary obstacle to this revolution is not the absence of a detailed plan or the absence of sympathetic politicos. The primary obstacle is the fear-rooted refusal of human beings to start growing up and allowing themselves to begin discovering what this terrifying reality of ours REALLY is.
It's time for an evolutionary leap and if this leap doesn't come then you can kiss the revolution good-bye. And if you think the German failure was horrific just stick around for the American one. I assure you that the Americans will prove that they are indeed Number One.
I can go into extended detail on how to individually and collectively address the problem of primal fear. I am not just throwing out generalizations that I cannot back up with concrete praxis. But the need for this addressing must first be realized or I will simply be ignored.
Final Question(s): I would like to know if you who are asking Jill Stein to make a serious run for the White House are prepared to accept your share of responsibility if it leads to her martyrdom. Or are you just playing fantasy games because you can't face the situation as it really is? Are you yourself prepared to risk martyrdom? Are you just another American who thinks that America is too sacred and exceptional a nation to really be taken over by murdering Fascists?
It will be very easy to become consumed by the babble and bustle surface of everyday life and not realize how fast things are degenerating and then find that there is nothing that can stop it before catastrophe.
I am at the present time reflecting on the question of whether something like OEN can actually be meaningful in this situation. Please keep in mind that the pressure to become Fascist collaborators is going to become enormous and relentless on all levels. People betraying people out of fear will become part of the norm. A hurricane is coming that will come in the form of countless little insidious threads that will eventually entangle everything. Anyone who thinks that at this point forming a third political party can by itself stop this hurricane is living in fantasy. The revolution we need is more than a political revolution. It is a reality-perception revolution that goes much deeper than a change of opinions and beliefs. And it is time to face this fact now.
