Warming Up

When Booker T. Jones appeared at the Memphis soul edition of the "In Performance at the White House" concert series, in 2013, he played "Green Onions" when Barack Obama entered the room, and the President said that he much preferred it to "Hail to the Chief." Hard to argue with that, so here, in honor of the ascension of Obama's veep to the White House, is the original 1962 version, with Jones joined by the mighty M.G.'s.
