This military could not defeat the militaries of small countries like Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan even though it used hundreds of thousands of troops and the most sophisticated weaponry. The U.S. government and its military need to come to the realization that the use of massive military power has its limitations and that conditions are changing. And that they must change accordingly. Pouring trillions more into the war machine in the future is not the answer.
If ever Divine Intervention was needed in a crisis such as this, that time is now.
