Here's another take on this election. It's now virtually certain that if the dems win it will be because American voters succeed in bringing off the near miracle of a presidential victory while being severely handicapped with the Obama/Biden albatross tied around their necks
In short the tragic and heartbreaking truth is that we're going to have to win this election IN SPITE OF OBAMA AND BIDEN.
Can we do it? Well we can and very probably will win an aggressive fistful of (left of center?) congressional seats, since they're really independent of Obama smiley face stickers and Biden's astounding contempt for the progressive base of what's left of the Democratic Party. So, thank God the albatross ISN'T tied around the neck of the congressional seats – at least not so tightly.
So maybe the best case scenario is that Obama and Biden will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, but at least the congress won't be just more "Democratic", but also, God willing, more PROGRESSIVE i.e., the only political point of view (and potential Political Party) which is grounded in and truly represents the will of the American people.
All of this having been said, hope springs eternal and perhaps Obama and Biden will experience a kind of patriotic enlightenment, catalyzing the certain knowing that life is somehow touching their very souls to heroically rise to the challenge of defending America, human civilization, and the very Earth itself. Such moments in human history are very, very rare, but our own magnificent Constitutional forefathers will forever be a beacon to humanity that such challenges CAN be risen to.
So apparently “our” challenge is how do we get through to you two guys? Bloody hell, you've got to stop this suicidal whimpery and STAND UP AND FIGHT. You can't keep pretending reality is some kind of "graduate school" in which you get to be President and Vice President of the United States with patronizing, literate, smiley "discussions".
As a last resort, we're appealing to your "manhood". You've got to start acting like aggressive men (imitating Hillary Clinton would be a good place to begin!) who are extensions of those very same founding fathers who DIDN’T hide from those ballistic responsibilities of making and defending a nation.
And speaking of boats, your nicey nice talk, boot licking compromises, and criminal passivity is now already well on the way to sinking our ship of state PERMANENTLY.
