Well, anyway, as with the China breaching, Mandiant and CrowdStrike were quick to provide the "technical" cover for the allegations already made by the Intelligence Community (IC), with as Greenwald said at the time -- and would say today -- with little or no substantive evidence: it's Voice of God reasoning. This time photographs of the buildings and people (Cozy Bear) were published, and, as with China, Russians were indicted for crimes they would never be tried for, in America or anywhere else. Yet again, empty symbolism; convictions without trials. We should believe the proclamations of James Clapper and John Brennan -- just because -- and ignore the fact that they are liar liars? And when the MSM gives them a free pass at the time of their lying, and then again when they hire them as consultants at TV networks for the sole purpose of taking down Trump, then the MSM is complicit in the shenanigans taking place before our very eyes.

And here it is 2020, and Russia is said to be at it again, according to the MSM, relying on the Voice of Gods. A couple of days ago, Greenwald wrote a piece at his new Substack home, "With Biden's New Threats, the Russia Discourse is More Reckless and Dangerous Than Ever." Greenwald writes,

Biden will enter the White House with tensions sky-high with Russia and facing heavy pressure to retaliate aggressively. Biden's top national security advisers and now Biden himself have, with no evidence shown to the public, repeatedly threatened aggressive retaliation against the country with the world's second-largest nuclear stockpile.

This is no light issue, as we head for a decision on a START extension by February 5, 2021.

And, as if answering Greenwald's concern, a Russian general has hinted at the unacceptability of these kinds of tensions. In assessing tensions between Russia and other nation-states, General Valery Gerasimov, chief of the General Staff, told foreign attache's in a long address (still worth perusing for the publicly-stated Russian assessment),

Military confrontation extends to cyberspace and outer space, and as a result, the risk of incidents increases due to interference in the functioning of control systems and ensuring the use of nuclear weapons. [paragraph 14]

These are not frivolous observations; their import should be considered by thoughtful analysts, not politicians.

*SPECULATION SPOILER ALERT* It's possible that this round of Russia blatherscheiss is to head off the deep poo Biden is still in re: Ukraine and China (by way of unfinished business with Burisma and with more signs of corruption by way of the computer pawn-shop incident that Greenwald has described in some detail in his first post following his resignation from The Intercept). As far as Burisma goes, one has to wonder at the motivation of the former prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, when he sought in February to have Joe Biden prosecuted in Ukraine and overseas for interfering in the internal affairs of that nation when Biden had Shokin shitcanned. Did Trump put him up to it through Mr. Rudy Hands-Down-His-Pants? The article read in part,

In particular, Biden was accused of interference in the work of a law enforcement body under Section 2 of Article 343 of the Penal Code of Ukraine.

But the request was denied on the grounds that it was submitted to the wrong investigative body.

As far as China goes, Greenwald suggests that there is dirt there worth pursuing. Biden is already pissing Lefties off carrying himself like he has a mandate. Republicans made it known, especially Mitch McConnell and Right-Wing luminary Alan Dershowitz, that the Repugs would come right back at the next Democratic president.*END SPECULATION SPOILER ALERT*

So Greenwald has a good reason to be steamed at the Kow-Tow sequel by the MSM in swallowing whole the Russiabait. Jeesh, talk about spear-phishing. Jeesharooni, man. We don't know if there was any hacking at all. Or, if so, who did it. Mandia, Kurtz, and the IC say it was the Russians. But it could be the Americans -- CIA, NSA, FBI, Mandia, Kurtz. CrowdStrike has deep ties to the FBI. MSM hero, Deep Throat (i.e., Mark Felt), has shown again that members of the Bureau will "whistleblow" for revenge and get away with it. The Mueller investigation, led by a former FBI director, was in essence a farce. There were indictments, but now there are pardons. Hmph.

And just yesterday, the American Civil Liberties Union announced that they are suing the FBI for extensive hacking into the phones and computers of citizens without a warrant or cause. More worrisome, the hacking is through encryption. It's unbelievable what the MSM lets these hoodlums with badges get up to. Maybe the FBI did the hacking. Or maybe the ex-NSA spooks -- more homo contracti? -- who founded Area 1, the cybersecurity outfit that pretended the Russians hacked into Burisma last year, did it. Hey, maybe Burisma board member Cofer Black did the hacking ...did anyone ask him? Maybe we should remember t he NSA tools that got released or the Vault 7 tools published at Wikileaks that gave hackers everywhere a whole new perspective. Or maybe we should recall what Mandia told Congress a decade ago: 9 out of 10 companies breached learned of it from the government. Maybe we should recall that the NSA keeps tabs on everyone and would know who breached whom, as Snowden said. Why would the Russians even bother? Maybe we should put Ethical Hacking in the mandatory curriculum of American high schoolers.

Whatever is going on with this latest exploit, we can be sure that there's a play on, designed to distract us from the real deal going down. Money being made.

Conspiracy theory? Check my graph above connecting these dots. And listen to blatherscheiss fly.
